SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it really is alarmed with regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue made for intervention experiences a large inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this sassa status reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to help the servicing of all prospects and sassa raise usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
